The gentleman owned a castle called Hazarth, where he invented the dice game. He stated the name Hazard with the dice game that corresponded to the castle's name. Usually, crusaders visit the castle to eliminate boredom through playing craps. Aside from this account, another chronicle proved to be worth part of craps' evolution. This account originated from the Middle East. Craps' chronicles have illustrated the word 'al zar' or 'azzah' to be a precursor of the game Hazard. Azzah is an Arabic word that expressed "dice" relative to craps.
Geoffrey Chaucer, a well-known contemporary writer, told about the game of dice in his work The Canterbury Tales. Similarly, craps was a leisure activity of the Englishmen. Furthermore, European noblemen during 1600s became advocates of craps that helped decrease their funds due to obsession. All these compulsions have been asserted to craps, which was renowned before as Hazard.
